Low cost eCommerce solution for Shiruba Tree

The new website for Shiruba Tree was designed and built by Pink Cactus. It features jQuery animations for rollover, paging, and rotating effects, as well as having the ability for visitors to purchase the rings on sale.

To keep costs to a minimum but still deliver usability, payment is handled by PayPal. There is no CMS or shopping cart system place, instead all information relating to a product ordered is sent to PayPal which then sends the data on to Shiruba Tree to fulfill the order.

New website for Ellwoods Food Group

Pink Cactus won the pitch to design and develop the new website for Ellwoods Food Group. The website allows members to order food from Ellwoods online. Viewing and ordering products is restricted to members who have signed and had their account activated by Ellwoods team.

Project deliverables included:

  • Full Content Management System (CMS)
    We utilized a third party solution (Expression Engine) which was customized to the client’s needs and integrated into the front end website by our developers.
  • Shopping Cart System
    Powered by Carthrob which is built to work seamlessly with ExpressionEngine content management system.
  • Members Management
    So the client can control who can order online. The client has the ability to review and activate each new account registration.
  • Ability to assign products to be viewable to customers in the North or South of England

The website has a full administration system powered by Expression Engine for the CMS and Carthrob for the shopping cart system.
